White Resin Stackable Adirondack Chairs | Home Chair Designs
It is said that Adirondack seats were made by Thomas Lee in 1903 when he desired some outside chairs while his family was on vacation in Westport, New York. The legend states that he cut off eleven slats of wood from 1 piece of timber and set them together to make the chair.

Lee understood Harry Burnell and that he knew that Burnell wanted some income and gave him that the blueprint to get the chair. The chair was initially called a Westport seat. Burnell registered a patent for the design and didn't contain Lee in the patent.
